PSP around the clock

I'm blogging way too much about the psp, my mobile phone is getting lonely. Just a couple of quick comments and I'll stop.

The Wipeout browser tweak is fun to try, but it takes a bit to setup and it's not super useful at this point. I may use it to read bloglines, but not much else. Maybe roto and company will turn this into something really cool, but at this point, it's not much more than a proof of concept. It's definitely not worth buying Wipeout or killing yourself to try to set it up, the browser is really slow and this'll be totally obsolete once Sony releases the firmware update.

The really interesting things will happen when either of these groups get Linux going on the PSP: http://www.wtfwasthat.com/psp/ http://www.psp-linux.org/ When that happens, watch out.

One last thing. Lumines is an amazing game! I played it for the first time this afternoon and it blew me away. So simple and clean. They're going to sell a lot of copies of this game. It's hard to describe, but it's really good. Now I understand why people were saying it was the best of the launch titles. I'm going to try hooking my PSP headphone output to my overkill home theater system and immerse myself in 7.1 speakers of Lumines music.
